recycle me

i got a new pamalengke bag! hehehehehe... who says only SM supermarket have this type of bag? :) what's really nice with recycle bag like this is that you also teach the kids one way or another to at least give a simple example on helping save the earth. i dunno really, but before i simply don't care on anything. but now, now that i'm already a mom and i only want the best for my daughter. that is why simple ways such as this could give her a hopefully friendly earth in the future. i don't want her to have a more polluted place to live.
so there, blogger friends specially mommies... maybe it's time we get to be active and help in our own little ways to save the earth... for our children to live.

nguynguyan time

this is how my little brat looks like before getting herself to sleep... she'll twist and turns in a hundredth times, would twist her legs while getting cranky most of the sleepy time. she would do this for like five to ten minutes before she gets her sleep. i sometimes worried about her when she does this, but her Pedia told us that there is completely nothing to worry about, since this her way of getting her sleep, without being carried always.

you notice her legs? now that's something she gets from me, until now, when i'm mad or i want something that i can't have, you'll just see me twisting my legs and throwing tantrums! :) and with sleeping on her stomach is something she gets from her dad. Amiel loves to sleep face down and lying on his tummy.

now the brat is in her deep slumber... sssshhhh... during her morning nap time, expect a little less than an hour before she wakes up and an hour or two during her afternoon nap.

happy bee

my favorite bee is i guess my daugther's too! :) never was she got afraid when Jollibee approaches her, she even play with the friendly bee! hehehe... taken last sunday, morning breakfast after hearing mass.
another funny kwento is that we went home with the husband all wet from the softdrink Olin was able to reach thus splashing it all to her Tatay's lap! :) a really funny experience that even with wet pants Amiel doesn't get mad or anything, he even kisses her angel after the crime! hehehehe...

MIA for the meantime... my parents are getting started with their latest project. another 6 door apartment. i'm helping my mom do the processing in our town's municipal office for the building permit and other requirements. thus making me the official driver! :)

everything is going on so smoothly, with the engineer, to the foreman to the lumber owner etc, what just ticks me are the slow-moving-municipal-employees who are so lame and lazy with their SUPPOSEDLY task! it has been two weeks already when we pass all the requirements and almost everyday follow-up but to no avail. and just this morning we were told that we need to go back on wednesday if our permit will be released. IF! goodness.

God help those freakin' employees. where would you find an office that has a cable tv! we even saw those freaks watching WWF during office hours. crap!

i miss the baby

i was just doing my folder by folder re-arranging of my photo albums when i saw this photos of Olin when she was like 4 weeks old...

i can't help but miss the little baby i used to carry, the little one who is so vulnerable and usually takes her whole day just sleeping. i miss her super tiny face and so-baby cries...

now, the little baby i used to carry is getting bigger and bigger everyday, now she often wanted to explore every single corner of the house and loves to stand up on her own and cruise around.lately she enjoys throwing things and would cry out loud if no one picks it up. will run (using her walker) after her father and me whenever we goes out of the house. now the little cries are replaced by her babblings or ma-ma-ma, pa-pa-pa, am-bam-ba, da-da-da. she likes to be carry around with people she's familiar with and would reached out whenever she sees me, now she knows i'm her mom. :)

and i'm loving every single moment of it...

snob shots

look how snob my princess here! i really don't know whats up with her being such a snob when she sits in a high chair... which makes me realize that we need to get her one asap! we never thought that she would do just right in a high chair because she seldom sits on her own, but really likes standing up and cruising. in ten more days she'll be nine months with two teeth and a tantrum! just like her pop. hmmmm...

and here's another one snob shot of the lil' brat... she's into crossing her arms when sitted and crossing her legs er twisting it when she's sleepy and during her crappy times. her pedia says its normal for babies to find ways how to comfort their own tantrums ans trippings... tsk, tsk, tsk.... tantrum attacks at eight months! what's up with that huh?

i heart food

one thing i loved in Caylabne Bay Resort is their super yummy and chocolatey Hot Cocoa! i mean, for me spending some time there is not complete without my 3 to 4 cups of their bottomless hot chocolate! sulit di ba? i tried making my own version when i bought tablea in tagaytay, but to my dismay, totally different taste! although the one i made is still delicious, i guess i'm missing a little of ingredients, i wonder what. hmmm...

and here is what i had for breakfast, Filipino style! loved their tapa! chewy yet soft and tasty. i wish i was able to take picture of the other meals we had, but unfortunately my cellphone got drained and i still haven't got myself a new digicam. howell, be posting more of the stories and some pics taken before my phone died.

wow! thanks mommy ANN for the award! :) i never thought that i am one of the cool mom in the blog scene, all i'm aware of is that i'm living the best of my everyday life and enjoying every minute of it with my daughter and my husband. i wish i can truly live to the tag 'cool mom'! :) i wanted Olin and i to bond just like friends when she grows up, i wanted to be her best friend and confidant. by that time, if this blog is still alive, i'll come back and post a huge banner saying 'indeed i am a cool mom!' with my head up.

Olin loves her cousin's doll, she never let go of the 'glow worm' when she got hold of it one time during our family dinner at my in laws, good thing Gab is like few months younger than her and still unaware of her toys being played by other kids... and i just love the doll myself! it is something so unusual because the toy glows while playing soft lullaby. it's so nice to see Olin so happy with the toy, that she keeps on babbling and smiling.
i promise the little brat that when she's well already from her cough and fever we'll bring her to the mall and will find this glow worm toy for her!
look how she embraces the toy! who wouldn't want her to have her own?
