colored chicken little

during Fiesta (feast day) there are many rolling bunot (pick) a raffle style system for P1.00 and you can win a COLORED CHICKEN! yes, during this festive time you'll hear kids shouting and calling the rolling bunot-man... "SISIW" (chicks). and who wouldn't want to win a cute little chick in super color pink or cookie monster look alike electric blue lil' chicken?! this is a usual scene during town fiesta's in Cavite. many are still buying the tricks played by the local vendor for colored chicks and my nieces and cousins are one of them! we won 2 for betting our twenty pesos! great deal isn't?! or it was just pure luck! hehehehe...
sad part is, the chicks died the following day after getting wet from the rain. ayyy... sad...

good news

oh i'm just so ecstatic with giddiness! just got an email from PPP telling that this .com blog is already approved and is ready to snag opps! teehee! just when i thought that i was already doomed because of the PR drop, something so good just came up! thank you Lord!

I love you cake

a few nights ago the Husband came home with a Red Ribbon cake, surprise, surprise! all the while i thought he was already on his way home but he drop by the nearest RR bakeshop pa pala to grab one. anyways what's really sweet is that he calls it he's I LOVE YOU CAKE! OMG! super sweet di ba?!

well, this I LOVE YOU cake is actually Honey Cake... something my SIL introduced to me a few months back.. super yummy! :)
the Husband even had the whole cake cut into slices for me, so i wouldn't have a hard time doing the cutting. sweetness talaga! hehehehe

would you believe that the following day the whole cake was all eaten up already?! yep... that's how delicious it was! :) now let's not talk about the calories ive'd consumed...

this is how my little brat loves to get photographed! taken a few nights ago, while she was getting cranky and wants to be carried around, i set up my phone camera and took lots of pictures of us! she eventually forgot her tantrum moments! hehehehe... super effective on getting her attention.

***updates on Olin, she can now sit from whatever position she comes from steadily and firmly, and she loves cruising around the living room while holding on the sofa. stumbles a hundred times already but she doesn't basically mind it, she wouldn't shed a tear after a bump on this and that :) super loves to be tickle and so addicted on television! just like her dad, just to let you know ;p
and thank goodness! she's over and done with her fear of stranger phase! yipee! she can now be carried by strangers and would give a super lovely smile on people who greeted her... carinosa mi unica hija!

wide awake

time now is 12:51am... still wide awake ang lola nyo here... still waiting for the husband, he says he's on his way na, he attended he's weekly Oldskooler meet ups in Westgate Alabang... and i'm waiting for my box of Gonuts Donuts. yes, i'm still into it. after eating humongous amount of it during my pregnancy days. now i still crave for it but with Sola raspberry iced tea now :)
i haven't been able to do paid entries tonight because my brain isn't working the way it's supposed to, ngarag i guess. or maybe just tired. we joined the Our Lady of Soledad de Porta Vaga motorcade this afternoon in Cavite City, followed by dinner at KFC. watched the ending episode of Kokey, Big Brother and the scary MMK. were you able to watch it din ba? the story was sad not actually scary. i mean if i was the mother of Luis and i have a power to curse or something,maybe i'll do the same. nothing beats the feeling a mother suffers when she sees her/his child is hurting so much talaga...

what matters most

something to cap the night off... this is one of my all time favorite song... being love is one of the finest gift we can receive in our whole life... i am thankful for the love... forever.


i hope you love the song too... it brings out the best in us, the memories and the wonderful feeling.

after months of waiting... taaadddaaaannn! this .com site of mine is officially approved by paid blogging sites! yawooo! meaning... i now have to blogs to update with moolah creating powers! :)
and to give more encouragement for myself.. lemme post here my well earned DSLR from my blogging money... this was made possible by my first blog... BUHAY MISIS NI KATHY. i started paid blogging around end of July this year and thank the good Lord for giving me opps since then. that is why around last week of September i was able to buy a Nikon DSLR with the help of my Tito Boylit who does the shopping and making things possible for me... oh i can't wait to hold this new baby in December! so there..i guess you'll be expecting more posts in here... see yah! and thank you all for taking time to visit...

friendship ever!

here is a photo with my High School Best Friend Leah, yep she has a kid too :) actually, she is the one who taught me how to wear a body fitting shirts even though i was one hell of a fat girl during high school. the real kikay in the group! the one who teach me on how to be self confident and all.

sometimes it's just so nice to look back on the days when we where younger, i remember the times how we spend the whole day just hanging around in their places, talking about our crushes and all... would you believe that we were supposedly have gone to the same College, in La Salle actually. but i just got out of the line during the enrollment because i got irritated with the long line i have to take just to pay for the tuition. yes, i backed out. leaving Leah, alone. i know she hated me for the longest time, but all is well and forgiven. we were able to finished our College, got great jobs and now, tracking the married and happy family life.

now, we often see each other during weekends, if time permits us to, and of course during birthdays and other events with our kids! :) having bunch of great friends, does makes our life easier noh? and if ever given a chance to choose again the friends i will have, Leah would still definitely be on my top list.

Costume Party

last October 27 was our Halloween Costume Party held at my friend Leah's place... a dinner party with lots of fun! the Husband was supposed to come in an afro get up but because of the db drag competition he wasn't able to attend. anyways, here are some of the pictures taken during the party...

Olin Rei's first Trick or Treat

here is Olin's first experience of Trick or Treat with her cousins... last October 31 at SM Bacoor. she never got spooked by other kids with costumes instead she awed them as if thinking something.
but let me tell you, if ever you'll be joining next year make sure to be at the mall as early as possible to be able to grab goodies from the stores. we were there past 11 am but unfortunately, candies and loots were already gone. that is why the kids got home just a half full of their pumpkin basket.
