Last week was a terrible and traumatic week for us, unfortunately the husband suffers never ending vertigo experience followed by a headache, it was so painful that he even needs to throw up at one point. That is why my mom and I decided to bring him to the nearest clinic and let his blood pressure checked, then it hit us, his BP rise up to 150/100! I was asked to get him an otc medicine that can help lower his pressure and some cold pineapple juice too. We were able to get home safe and sound and I just let him rest while I keep an eye on him.
The following morning we went to a specialist doctor for a general check up, the nurse attendant took his BP using a blood pressure monitor and thank God it lowered to 130/90, but of course it is still relatively high. Then after some tests the doctor told us that he suffers from high Triglycerides, meaning there are fats present around his heart, so he needs to take some three different medicines for a month and needs to be check up again after two weeks. So now, we have to be extra watchful in all our food intakes, no oily and fatty foods for the husband, no chips, no chicken skin and no cholesterol filled meals. There are so many adjustments for all of us now, he also needs to start dieting in a safe and steady way. I just hope he'll get better soon, and stabilize his blood pressure. God be with us...
