The husband has not been playing with his air soft buddies for quite some time now, even if he wants too, he can't. Why? because our help is currently in a vacation right now, actually she was supposed to come back last Saturday but due to some unavoidable circumstances she has no choice but to extend her leave, but that deserves another post. Anyways, back to the air soft hobby of my husband, he has been surfing the net for some SWAT gear apparel which he can order or better yet he can copy for his military like uniform in his game, although he already has his own sniper gear he still wants to own another set, been trying to scout for the most reasonable priced gear in the web and hopefully he gets whatever he's in mind.

Speaking of my friend who is set to leave tomorrow, guess what, aside from her loot of a wine for my husband, she just gave me my Bailey's too the other day! but don't get me wrong, we are not an alcohol-spirited husband and wife tandem, not. we are just giddy happy because a few months back we were talking about collecting wines and getting one of those beautiful wine racks to be placed on one of our cupboards here in our house, just like my dad's collection of liquors. so far, we have already three unopened bottles, we have a long way to go, I know, but at least we are starting...

leaving on a jet plane

My friend who just came last month for her vacation is set to leave tomorrow for another eight long months on ship life, anyways, we were supposed to have a last day happy bonding moments today but then she wasn't able to come because she has to wait for her papers release and her plane tickets, she was texting me the whole time and telling me the piles of papers she has to sign before she gets her pass for tomorrow's departure including papers for her travel insurance and other matters in relation to her work. And guess what, we weren't able to see each other because she was still in her office the moment as of this writing, great right? and she is set to have a scheduled flight at eight in the morning! nice.

she's loving her pool now, can you tell? she can't wait to take a dip! taken two days after her swim time at our garage... the weather is sooooo hot that is why kids love their pools during these time! even the oldies would love to take a quick dip, but the pool is too small... argh.

Visita Iglesia

We had our yearly Visita Iglesia (Church Visits) last Holy Wednesday, although it's supposed to be done every Maundy Thursday, but due to my cousin's schedule -who is by the way the one in charge for the van driving we had to do an anticipated devotion. We started out early because we had a schedule to follow since we decided to visit the churches in Tagaytay before we head to our yearly routine in Cavite City, the churches were all beautiful and serene, closer to nature and closer to God effect is what you can feel in every house of God we visits, but some of the old folks we are with had hard time reaching some of the high built churches, with so many stair steps to face they even wished for a stair lifts! it was funny how can they come up with ideas such as that, but because we are all there to had a little sacrifice they bear every inch of arthritis pains and joints aches while reaching the hilled placed churches. photos will soon be uploaded...

sleep all day

It has been a long weekend for everyone, and guess how we spend the whole day today? yes, sleeping! my back hurts now, after a whole afternoon of slumber. It was really good you know, considered as one of those bonding times with the husband, but only did i wish for a more comfortable bed! if only we have those precious memory foam mattress the stars and tv personalities talks about, raving how comfortable their sleep now after trying this mattress. Oh well, who knows, when this thing gets a little more affordable maybe we'll get to own one too.

I can still clearly remember how excited I am for my first day in College, i wasn't able to sleep the night before it actually, i mean being in the real study world as most often refers to Colleges and Universities, it was the best experience for me! although most of my friends took up engineering courses like Electronic and Communications Engineering while some took Industrial Engineering. some of them even tried to convinced me to take up engineering related course since it has been one of the most in demand courses out there, with the up rising industrialized zones that are requiring graduates of the said courses, it wouldn't be a hard thing to look for jobs and positions in certain companies. I believe that is one of the main reason for Kettering University in the US for pursuing the teaching of such courses like engineering co-op programs that are related to industrialized related jobs. This school does offer co-op programs, meaning students can learn practical knowledge in alternate to school learning. And it has been ranked "the #1 University in the nation for Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering" in the US News and World Report. This is one of the main reasons why this University is being so in demand, with the best offer courses available, fresh graduates are lining up for acceptance in the said school.

We just came home from an afternoon dip at Oceana, Island Cove Resort with my in laws to celebrate my father in law's birthday, anyways as expected the resort was crowded with so many guests, tourists and locals gather to enjoy the afternoon sun with their families, food and drinks were also over flowing! kids and adults had their best smiles while splashing waters and enjoying the slides and the other activities available for everyone to use. meanwhile, while everyone are having a grand time, one side of the said resort are being dressed up for a scheduled beach wedding this coming weekend, of course i took a peek! there are beautiful swags being prepared for the mini ceiling and some decors that coordinates with the theme. The whole area was being beautifully made, I can tell that, by just seeing the decors they are about to put in the place, I wonder how their Beach Wedding Invitations look like, I bet it looks good too. With so many manufacturers and creators for themed events it is not so hard to get the desired personalized items you want during these times, just like the 1st Class Wedding Invitations website that features beautifully made invites and other personalized stuff for weddings and other occasions.

my sister in law an up rising fashion designer of Cavite and her latest bride, imagine she was able to dress up the candidates for Miss International and some other beauty contests held in the metro. she masters her craft in wedding gowns and debut dresses, she also does suits and kiddie gowns, the gowns and dresses my daughter wears on her birthday was made by her too. anyways, she was thinking of getting some study in some fashion schools in california where some of the relatives are based, we all know that there are so many credible fashion schools in los angeles and fashion school in california in general where she can enroll herself right?

i've been in my so lazy mode for the past few days, isn't it obvious? a couch potato for the past four days already, yeah, four days and it's not so me right? i mean, for some time now i always stays in front of my laptop for a good eight to twelve hours in a day! especially after i resigned from work, i make sure to stay busy doing some writing opportunities and bloghopping, reading posts from other fellow bloggers, reading news and new stuff from different websites. i even try to join and register online sites like www.foodconnect.com for mommies and cook wannabes too! yes, you just read that right, i've been into cooking too, although it has been like almost three years since i started being in charge with the cooking and all, but its a totally different story now, with a kid in tow, food has to get some improvements too you know, it must be kid friendly and yummy so my daughter wouldn't have a hard time eating. so there, i make sure to visit food site for the latest recipes and food informations. actually, its really great, you know having a ready site ready to help whenever you experience lack of ideas on what and how to prepare certain meals the whole family would definitely love!

do you also wonder of what small business to put up during summer time? you see the husband and i talked about inquiring for a franchise of an ice cream booth where we can place somewhere near the town proper of Tanza, having quite a number of bystanders and students around the area plus the church goers, an ice cream booth might be perfect, and yes the season even calls out for it. summer heat with super cold ice cream? sounds great!

laptop dilemna

i just received a text message from my sister asking if i know somebody who can reformat her laptop, learned that it was infected by a virus that was sent through her email. now her unit is acting up like a spoiled brat! taking so much time before it opens a tab or something. but whats worst than everything else is her laptop memory that she can't seem to figure how it became almost full, she even made sure to erase everything to loosen up a bit whatever shes doing and opening, but nothing works. i guess the virus does it all. so tomorrow we will try to contact the technician we were referred to and hopefully he can fix the poor thing.

it has been exactly fifteen days since my first morning jog, and guess what? my body seems not to lose weight! argh. i really don't know, my mom tells me i'm sort of like losing my bulges or my love handles but the husband thinks the other way around! my clothes still fit the same, although i can feel lightness in my whole self, maybe because of the daily dose of jogging and perspiration. sometimes i feel that there is no hope for me to get back my pre-pregnancy body. how i wish! but then, if there are woman who can, then sure i can do too! right? i hope so.

thesis

my sister is in the midst of her finals right now, been studying for some weeks already, head buried under those big and bulky Psychology books. anyways, i remember my last year in College where i am the leader for our Defense slash Thesis group, being a Business Management major, my group and i must present a dummy business that we will create using all our knowledge learned from four years of studying. it took us like forever to think of a business that is so feasible and at the same time we all know that will boom since having a low economy status of the country that needs to be consider we must think of a business that is still much needed in the market today. so we thought of creating a Reclosable Poly Bags business. one that manufactures polyethylene film and bags just like the real company International Plastics that specializes in all types of plastic bags like the ones available in the market today, also like zip-lock types made for home use and other sealing purposes, they also got personalized trade show and merchandise bags -the one you usually saw with the company or store name printed on the plastic itself. so anyways, we are so confident with our soon to rise feasible business Thesis already regarding with plastics and its composition when suddenly a change of required business was released by the head, a food company is the only possible subject we can use. bummer.

check up

my father had his routine medical check up before leaving for work next month, as usual two weeks prior to his schedule date of you would always see him drinking lots of different kinds of teas and brewed plants as history says it can clean up ones inside. it tastes bland really but the effect is so effective that is why he keeps on drinking that. aside from medicinal herbs and teas a friend of him also offers some food supplement made specially for Colon Cleansing, something so important specially when a person is getting age already. well, Papa might get that medicine once he comes back to the States having known the benefits he can get from that.

food tripping

last Sunday was another Tagaytay trip for the family. my MIL and FIL invited us for a whole day pasyal with so much eating galore! took off a few hours before lunch, had a feast at one of those Bulalohan's in the area... forgot to take pictures though--Olin was at her cranky-self that time kasi.... anyways after the lunch fest we went straight to PARADIZOO a sister branch of Tagaytay zoo where they sell out farm animals, the place was oh so far! my gulay! it almost took us forever before we saw the place! pictures are still not transferred from Amiel's phone though...
after the tiring long travel--what else? eating time once again! this time at Pancake House. FIL was craving for some pastries but then again my MIL directed us to a wrong resto! lol, all the time she thought Tootsies was a pastry shop or something, but when we went inside, it's not. Starbucks are fully loaded naman that time, tsk,tsk... akala ko magkikita kame ng White Mocha Frap ko! lol... so we then decided to have our snack at PH. i had 2 pcs Choco Marble pancake and Mocha Shake, so as FIL who had the strawberry version naman. the husband had some heavy snack, lol... pork chop meal or something... while MIL had pasta and sandwiches. and Olin of course was able to have a taste of everything!

after our Pancake House fest we then head to the Pink Sister's to hear the afternoon mass where we met my SIL and family.
dinner was capped out at Dencio's where we had sumptuous Pork Sisig, Crispy Tadyang, Tawilis, Buttered/garlic Asparagus, Ensalada, Spicy Chicken Wings and crab rice.
we were super tummy full and tired when we head home i tell you...i ended up sleeping at the backseat, Olin in my arms snoring! lol

flight back

my father is soon be leaving again for work, maybe in a month or less he'll be boarding on the plane and won't be home for another six months. anyways, speaking of flights, he recently decided to take another airlines for his back to US trip since he seems to get the impression of super high cost of charge of his previous flight, that is why he is asking my sister and i to look for affordable travel companies that are offering affordable price for flights. and so i learned about DialAFlight, a travel company offering flights and even travel ideas worldwide like arranging flights to the US, UK and even flights to India! gaining a lot of positive reviews from customers all around the world i might as well introduce this company to my father so he can get the most affordable and reasonable deal for his flight. by then we would just probably call their customer service hot line for more information and details the needed flight.

were i able to tell you that my little tot loves to sing? she does! whenever she hears a song, be it the ONE HELLO from the Kris Aquino Album, TOMORROW of Leah Salonga --from the Enfakid commercial and every Willie Revillame song! she just love to sing along with the song! ---i remember pinaglihi ko nga pala kay SARAH GERONIMO si Olin! during the Bituing Walang NingNing days... pero asar to the nth power ako nun kay BENJO... ung batang super itim na akala ko lalake--grabe bwisit ako sa batang yun every time nakikita ko siya... not knowing buntis na pala ako! lol...
anyways, here is my Olin while singing One Hello... basta whenever she hears a song being played she will walk to the where the microphone is and will sing! cute di ba?

i have been hearing about the mineral makeup for quite a while now... i was once interested on getting one and was about to order from a friend when i learned that it would snag me a hefty amount of almost five thousand bucks! oh no... i had to stop myself before i jump for the order. luckily i was able to save myself from buying... until i found out about everyday minerals! products are so cheaply priced but the ingredients and whatnots are almost the same with the leading mineral brand. i had to grab one of those kits! and yesterday, closed eyes... i click on the order button! hopefully, any day next week my kit will be delivered by the courier... can't wait to try it on myself! teehee!

i was watching the news last night when my sister told me about this on-going kidnapping mostly in schools, according to my newscaster sissie, these are consisting of men who are into capturing kids mostly in slum areas of the province, there are even teacher and parent meetings being organized to talk about the missing kids and the thing they can do to protect the kids from being kidnap... i mean, are these news for real?! although i heard one from the tv news a few days ago about the same incident that happened in another province, it is really scary! and now i'm paranoid. i wonder who are behind all these?! drug addicts? that meant to be inside those drug rehabilitation? or those who are into cults that are said to offer human blood and bodies for their lords? or just simply lunatics who doesn't have a conscience and soul? i just hope that said news is not true.

as mentioned a few week's back, i got a coverage booking for a birthday princess party referred by my friend Glen... it was such an honor for me to do so since knowing the family with oh so many experiences with various photographers it was me whom the mommy chose to do her unica hija's party. so what i did was prepped myself up so that i can do my job with great ease and prowess :)
here are some of the photos that i took...

obviously the princess is so beautiful on and off cam! and she is one bubbly girl i tell you... not to mention uber talkative! she talks to me every so often while i snap and she doesn't stop there too, she wants me to answer everything she asks! lol... it was an uber fun time!

even her make up stylist had to run after her with her so many getaway escapes during her preps... good thing Micmic is so flawlessly beautiful already...

and see? she loves to pose! yep yep! she can imitate every single pose i told her to do so... she loves seeing flash and all... and yes at some point she even asked me why my flash is not working, oh my...how can i explain to a 7 year old gal that i'm using a natural lighting effects?! i was dumbfounded!

imeldific! she loves shoes! and she was torn on what to wear on her pre party pictorial, one minute she likes to wear the open toe pink shoes, the other minute she loves the strapless sandals..then she opted to bare foot while prepping up! kids...

i love this gold sandals... i wonder if this has a size 9? lol...

her mommy was able to strictly stick with a Disney Princess theme that even her prepping out clothes were princess inspired too! imagine her party venue... uber bongga! will post pictures next time...

house reposession

Ive been hearing a lot of fellow wives are into house construction and house slash property buying this past few weeks, maybe it's because of the low exchange rates that is why acquiring properties are so in plus the fact that real estate business are now offering so many great deals that interested parties are magnetize to their blurbs and offerings. but of course there are also a lot who are into quick house sale mode being brought in by the migrating issues. as we all know a lot of families are also packing up things and moving out to another wealthy country for the greener pasture, thus making them sell their properties here. while others are into sell and rent back procedure, which honestly is a system that i'm not so familiar with, although i know the campaign for stop repossession that are being open up in open houses seminars and talks.

house updates

two days ago our television slash component rack were delivered, and look whose the one who doubled check everything as if acting the QC head? of course the toddler of the house! lol... she just woke up after her morning nap and when she sees the delivery men entering with the thing inside the house, the little brat immediately walk closely to it... to see and inspect!

anyways, it took us almost forever to arrange the tv and the component because of the cables and whatnots attached to the sockets. so we just waited for the husband to arrive so he can do the arrangements and had the radio works. i mean, with all those cables and plugs my mind got so twirled to where is to what, i wonder how those who can manage everything with wires and even fiber optic cables! men, that can make me faint from dizziness!

at the age of 13 months she now has 3 swim suits! (1 1-piece + 2 two-piece). my mo told me that i didn't have a swimming attire until i was three... mhen... ang swerte ng kids ngayon!

anyways, the family is now planning for a beach escapade... hmmm, but up to this time, no final decision yet... yada,yada,yada
