May 29 , 2008 marks the 8th natal day of my ever favorite (because she's the first) niece Stephanie Luise ... had a simple birthday celebration for her, Amiel is supposed to be the one to give her a birthday cake but her Daddy surprises her with one already kaya pinera na lang ng loka! hahahaha!how time flies so fast talaga, she used to be our only baby in the family... pero ngayon... ang dami na nila! :) at ang pinaka-baby na ngayon si Olin! :)

During the cake blowing with her bisita -Katkat (the chubby one), Olin and baby Ianna -Stephanie's younger sister.

We had fun, simple celebration plus lots of kwentos and kids antics! panalo! :) kita naman sa face nya di ba?! lol

Call me Star Cinema fanatic or whatever, but while everyone raves about the Sex and the City flick, I on the other hand is so excited to watch Sharon Cuneta's Caregiver. For the record, I am not a Sharonian, but when I come to think of it, almost all of her movies were watched by yours truly, so I guess, just like John Lapuz, I am a Sharonian. Now I'm confused. Anyways back to the movie, one of the many reasons why I would definitely watch this is because it was partly shot in London which is one of my dream destination and how the story deals about the life of our fellow Pinoy workers abroad, I can truly relate because like my father, he also has to leave us, his family in order to provide us a good and comfortable life. I mean, life away from your loved ones is double the pain than to what we, the family members experience here. But they are doing this to give us a better life, thats why. I even remember whenever we talks about my father's struggles in the States away from us, he tells us how he misses his family but whenever reality comes back in, kicking, he then realizes that this is what he has to do in order to earn a little more than to what he can earn here in the Philippines, imagine if he chose to continue working, maybe he wouldn't be able to get himself and the family a life insurance investment or even our own house that we have now. That is why, the husband and I are still so hoping to be able to work outside the country, for at least be able to save up for our future specially for our daughter's. Just what every Filipino Overseas workers wants and work for.

different cruise

Got another happy news yesterday, another friend just got in a cruise line job! it's amazing I know, having it known to be one of the highest paying job of a sea worker, being employed in a cruise ship is worth it, specially if you are assigned in one of those tip enable positions. You just got to be fit and smart to actually qualify in their scrutinizing procedures of hiring, anyways this friend of mine is soon to leave in the next few weeks, and she just told me that she will aboard one of those Christian Cruises in Europe, Christian Cruise?! yes, you just got that right. Those are cruises that most of the time holds Christian believers packed with bible encounters and religious activities. Bible Cruises as what it is also called are for those who wanted to have a vacation at the same time a vocation, it is like rekindling with their religious side and visiting religious places to get in touch with their faith and sort. Well, just like any luxury cruises, it has vast activities too you know, but has a Christian and religious touch most of the time to stick with its cruise theme. Sounds interesting right? Oh I just can't wait for more stories from my dear friend, I know she'll do good in that ship so no worries whatsoever.

Dad's day is near and I'm already thinking on what to give to my dear husband. Since he is into hunting and firing thing, maybe I should get him one of those 511 Tactical Shorts that could match his hobbies, something he can wear in his practical shooting sessions, having a lot of pockets and whatnots that can be very useful for him, designed for bulky items and said to be so durable, because you know, firing paraphernalia's are quite heavy. How would you like to be free from all your credit card debts? Sounds interesting I know, like me, I really need some good help when it comes to helping myself and totally be able tostop debt and other matters related to it. A friend of mine will be giving birth in the next couple of months, and some of our other friends are already talking about surprising her with a baby shower, just like what I had during my 8th month of pregnancy. Anyways, to start with I am scouting for cute yet classy baby shower invitations to order, you see most of the friends we will be giving out this invites are young professionals, so I guess it's really nice if we can stick with a classy look style of an invitation right? Good thing I was able to browse on the products of vistaprint.com wherein hundreds of invitations are available for order. I was even quite surprised to find out that the price are really affordable and the lay outs are all so nice, I'm now having a hard time choosing! Oh well, I guess I'll just have to forward this to one of my female partner in this party so she can help me with the decision on to what design to get. Been reading a lot or reviews and news about the rising Arizona Boating accidents in connection with Boating Operating Under the Influence of alcohol and prohibited drugs. I realized that it is not only possible in the roads for this kinds of accidents to happen, I mean, even on water there are lists of accidents being encountered by the youths because of being under the influence of alcohol. That is why, the state made or created a Boating Education Online for the people to learn and study about the consequences they may face if they still manipulate and ride a boat when they are drunk. Boating Education are also being given to the locals so as to learn responsible handling and riding of such ride. This program is made to combat the rising numbers of incidents and accidents that continually occurring in Arizona State. Something everyone must keep an eye on. This is in fact made for their safety.

Another lazy Monday for me and Olin... woke up late and just bummed around our bed for an hour or so... then I grabbed my camera for some morning shots of Olin... and look what she happily did... pose for the camera! such a happy baby!

I've been reading a lot of websites that features destinations whereabouts all over the world, then I realized that there are so many things to do if you are in a particular city be it anywhere around the globe. Well of course before going to a different city or different country it is really advisable for you to check out on whatever they can offer you that can benefit your interest in the first place. To give you an example, lets say you are set to land in the famous New York, we all know that almost every human living alive does know where the heck is NY and what it is famous for, yes, the Statue of Liberty and the busy streets it has. Aside from the online gaming that are becoming a fast hit among the youngsters nowadays, there are of course those who love the casino like atmosphere gaming zones, right at the comfort of ones home. lucky year to tie the knot

2008 is the most favored year to get married, actually, there are number of friends who are set to wed this coming June to December, not to mention those that tied the knot during the first quarter. Basically, one of the reason they decided to have it this year is the number 8 in the year that says to bring luck to the couple, plus the fact that they are also in the age that is so ideal to settle down. Anyways, when I was being asked on this and that about their preparations, I actually love the feeling of being able to help and suggest, call it nostalgic or whatever but the idea of being able to contribute in one way or another brightens me up.

As for me, the fun and excitement starts when you are deciding what motif or theme you would want for your wedding. Then the choosing of your invites will follow, be it a 1st Class Wedding Invitations or a do-it-yourself one, it doesn't matter as long as you have what you want. But of course majority still stick to the formal side of things, since wedding is one of those formal events, having paraphernalias that are close to formal is still a hit.

I was asked to run an errand by my mom then I suddenly realized that I can't drive, because my driver's license just expired last April and I was not able to prioritize that of all things, not I'm doomed, maybe a penalty will be charge for the late renewal or something. Goodness! then I also realize that my passport is also set to expire this coming August! oh my, imagine it doesn't even got to experience an immigration check up or something like that before it expires. I just wish that on my next renewal, I will then get to use that little booklet.

Woke up this morning with a flooding bathroom! my goodness, we were all puzzled how the thing happened, then the husband saw a leak in one of the faucet pipes. So what we did was turn off for the meantime the main water bulb so the leak will stop. After breakfast the husband went out to buy the bathroom fixtures needed. It was done before noon thus having our bath time delayed for more than two hours or so. But it was all good, the waiting and all because no more leak and flooded bathroom for us!
