Black Friday, love it!

My blogger friends are anticipating as early as now the phenomenal black friday 2008 were we can shop until we drop online! That is why, we are working double time to came up with a large amount of shopping money this coming Thanksgiving sale, just the thought of this holiday makes our butt itch because as expected, there would be a lot of special sales and bargains in different stores. Meaning, the items that we are eying for the longest time can be ours at a super discounted price! Can you feel my excitement here? lol. Really, this is what we are all waiting for, I remember last year when we horded for Crocs sandals because the price was slashed off almost 50%, it was chaotic online I must tell! everyone are browsing this and that site, inquiring if sizes and colors are still available amongst many other questions regarding the products. And yes, baby clothes are on top of the sales too! Which can makes me gaga! I jsut love shopping for the little girl, especially now that she's a toddler, and more clothes are so available for her, shopping can be heaven! Not only that, would you believe that shops and stores offers free delivery, so meaning the money that is for the shipping fees can be use for another item! Great isn't?! So I guess I was able to convince you now eh? Alright then, we'll just see each other on the Thanksgiving Sale and let's compare our shopping loots! :)

love for books

Been wanting to get back into my reading hobby, you see it has been my all time past time, I used to be a bookworm, started this thing when I was still in high school when a classmate lend me her Non-fiction Book, a young love story actually which I totally fell in love with! It definitely became my Pandora of books. I even used to visit various libraries to borrow different genres of books, a family friend even gave me a collection of Sweet Valley High and University books which I was able to finish in no time! Books became my best friend, you'll often see me in one corner of the room reading until the wee time of the night, then when I woke up, I'll again open up to where I stop the last time. Exchanging books from my friends were a frequent scenario, and a trip or two within a week in the mall's bookstore is a schedule dates for us too. We then head to different shelves that interests us, no talking at all for an hour or two! It was heaven! I must say. And I'm missing that moments, now that I am a full time wife and mother, sometimes I wanted to enter the bookstore whenever we are in the mall but then I would suddenly realized that there are people that would be bore with the idea that I have, so more often than not, I just pass.
But now, things are different! for book lovers like me, we can actually make way again for our book reading, by checking out online bookstore like www.borders.co.uk! Where we can order for our preferred book. Actually, I'm eying now this P.S I love you and Thanks for the Memories books in a very affordable prices!

Isn't this pair nice? the little one loves it so much that she always asks me to put it on her even though its big for her pa, I happen to bought a one size larger that's why. But anyways, its still alright because she still has this blue barbie crocs-like that her god mother gave her last Christmas. I should take a photo of my daughter wearing this cute rubber shoes some time, anyways, I was speaking to Peachy earlier and we were talking about what else? shopping of course! and we are thinking of buying another batch of crocs just in time for Christmas, since it'll be on sale during the Thanksgiving, so we'll probably catch some good buys by that time. I just hope and pray that online bugs will keep on showering moolah for us all! Alright then, I'll be out in a while to accompany my mom to look for Danze faucets or anything similar to that for the sink of my parent's house. See you!

Would you believe that my husband is thinking of getting one of those Pashmina?! Well, not that I have anything against to those who wear them at a casual set up or something, but, with the super hot weather that we have? c'mon! now don't give me that look, I know it's fashion and its fad. In two or three weeks, it'll soon be gone, I tell you. And can you see the celebrities who are wearing them? only few can really get along with it, most are still uneasy with a big scarf around their neck hanging on their shoulders. Weekly Round Up

August 18-24

It was the most unfruitful week for me, geek stuff wise. But in real life, it was the most harassed week ever! But it was good, for it was Hubby's birthday. We didn't have any celebration plans actually, I just asked my mom to cooks some Sotanghon noodles for snack for the family and for our close neighborhood friends. Until, after lunch, some of husband's friends called and told him that they will invade our house because it was indeed Amiel's birthday! So what we did was prepare in a fast forward phasing some food for dinner. It was so tiring! But let's just say all those hardwork are my gifts for him, because I wasn't able to buy him a present, yep, no fancy gold watches or whatsoever for him this year. Maybe next time :)
Anyways, I also had a new hair cut, had it colored and hot oil too :) The brat also had her hair done by mom too! Had gone out malling too! During the weekends, we weren't able to go out of the house since it was raining cats and dogs, we just attended the mass and spent the whole two days here in the house, family bonding it is!

mini biz

As mentioned on my other blog, we finished 150 pieces of themed cupcakes for a wedding last Saturday. Albeit tiring, my friend Paula were so happy to see the outcome at two in the morning! Yep, we finished the batch past midnight already, good thing my husband helped us during the last leg of the decorating and packaging part. We meet up with the cousin's bride at Mc Donalds around 9 am on Saturday and paid us the remaining balance. We got numbers of positive comments from friends and relatives who saw the finished products and we were ecstatic! Been blogging for almost four year now and let me tell you this, I learned a lot! before, I used to be so ignorant on web building and site maintaining. But after some time of self learning though reading and asking for help to other blogger friends, I'm actually alive and kicking now! And guess what, few months ago I decided to build another blog and this time on wordpress format. It took me a long time to finally made the jump but it was all worth it, I must tell. I love everything, from all the plug ins and formats being featured, it was so easy to navigate, and a total fun too! Having a lot of options and variations to choose from, you can never go wrong.
Anyways, I heard about this new WP plugin through a WP Review Site, a newly build site that has made a number of stir already by selling and creating affiliate sites and has generated a number of good and positive feedbacks from buyers. I guess the reason why this certain plugins creates a big wave is because no other plugins can give what this new has to offer, it is in fact what we all bloggers are looking for, since we need to generate a good number of visitors wherein they can rate and comments on wp pages.
