saving baby

I was once asked by my mom's friend about this Cryo-Cell Cord Blood Stem Cell Banking option, something we can get after I give birth to my daughter some twenty months ago. But when I inquire about this option from the prominent hospital where it is only accredited in our area I realized that it was so expensive, it is near to impossible that we can get that service. Although I know that it is very good especially that my kid would be the one to benefit on the said cord banking. But what can we do? We only have enough money during that time and adding another big expense would pull us down, financially speaking. Thus we didn't grab the chance. But guess what, Cryo-Cell Cord Blood Bank Special Promotion is a good news for those who are planning to get this medical attention! at a affordable price of $995, your child can get this cord banking service intented for her/his future use! Really affordable, compare to the whopping price it used to have before. So there, but the down side is that it only runs from 9/27/08-9/30/08, so check it out now before its late again or call 800-STOR-CELL for more details.

Camera Critters #3

I really find Owl a scary bird ever since. I dunno really when and how this scare thing started, but whenever I see one now it scares the whole out of me! It just gives me goose bumps all over! According to the old folks, when you accidentally saw an Owl it means BAD LUCK or when you have it as a pet.

Anyways this type of Owl is a BARN OWL. And according to my husband who really digs everything about animals, the owl is the only type of bird that has a built in silencer in their wings, they can fly without any noise at all! because of the unique design of the feathers under its wings! Opposite to the Hornbill Bird also known as the locomotive of the jungle who flies in the air so loud, it creates a chugging sound when it flaps its wings, sounds like a locomotive train as per say.

So there, another trivia for my Camera Critters entry before I hit to the mall to get myself some best buy
acne treatments
! More of the entries here....

bling sales

For some time now, I'ved been thinking of getting a gold bracelet Jewelry just like the photo on the left. Such a nice piece isn't? Yes, it is. Saw this at an online Diamonds store www.bluenile.com. Famous for their wonderful array of Engagement Rings and other fashion jewelries. And dig this, aside from being the number one online seller of more than 60,000 certified diamonds selections, they are also cheaper by by almost 40% compare to other jewelry and diamonds sellers! And they offer free delivery too via their accredited courier, FedEx, so no worries while your item is being shipped. Anyways, I'ved been eyeing this chain gold bracelet with a heart penchant wherein I can have my name engraved on it, something like an ID jewelry. Now it made me wonder how much will it cost me to order this and have it shipped. Let's see about that.

we want

Now that Papa is soon to come home for a vacation, we are thinking of where can we treat him for a day or two of some fun and leisure time. besides the water spa we are schedule to go to a week after his arrival, my sister suggested of bringing him to some place so serene and quiet for a day of relaxation, some fishing or just staying indoor with a great outback scene. i don't know if he would like to do some boating or something but anyways, we'll see. there is this one great place a few hours away from our home were we can bring him though, just like the same thing being offered at www.allinclusivevacations123.com where beautiful recreation site is available for those who would like to experience some real relaxation time, with the and other waterfront activities in the beautiful scenic beauty of Smith Mountain Lake. anyways, we'll just see if the plan will push through, i hope so, Papa deserves some relaxing time and a little of leisure too you know. Just the whole thout of it, us enjoying so much as a family makes me want to pull the hands of time so my dad can be here with us now.

consolidate

There are many reasons for people to face court actions, one of the many are financial cases, being submitted to court are because of bad credit. be it from credit card companies to other financial institutions, sometimes people tend to neglect their monthly bills thus having themselves being burden with additional costs coming from interests and other hidden charges. and with that, people tend to run away from their responsibility in getting their monthly dues settled. But good news for those who really wanted to face and pay their dues for payday loan debt consolidation gives hope and chance for those who wanted to gain their financial stability back into shape by giving special privileges and offers to regain their financial stability and even rebuild their credit card! by providing the ability for debt consolidation and debt referral for those who wants to regain their financial condition. they also do financial analysis and debt consolidation loans with connection to other debt and financial managing companies.

Testing With FF ScribeFire!

thanks to Amore and Aggie for talking about this thing! hehehee... Tried downloading it from firefox :) lemme see if this new add on will do good on my part.. teehee!

moi laptop

A friend just asked me how was I able to do all those blogging stuff the whole day while being a 100% hands on wife, mom and home maker... the answer?! with the help of my wireless connection! It has been with me and doing so neat for almost three months now, and let me tell you, my life and my online stints has never been the same! First among the so many positive ways it brings me is that I can bring my laptop anywhere around the house and still enjoys the internet knick knacks and all! Also, I can also bond with my daughter while I work having her on my side doodling or coloring. And lastly, the practicality it gives me to look after my daughter the whole day wherever whenever while once in a while glancing over my twitter friends chit chats at the same time cooking or watching telenovelas! It is actually called Multi-tasking stints! hahahaha

Anyways, this post made me realize that my unit is really a dependable one, you see, my laptop has been running for almost 24/7 from the start I bought it. And it has never stop nor frustrate me in whatsoever means from the start, well exclude the two days I had to stop working because I had to bring it back to where I got it and have the virus scanned out. But nevertheless, the money spent here is so worthit! Thank God I didn't depend on the price comparison sheet the agent has given me, or else I would have ended up getting the cheapest among all the units available. And of course, good thing I was only dead set on getting any Toshiba laptops and not just any other brand.

Winter for some

I envy those who are in the states that are actually preparing their fireplaces and heaters now. You see, winter season is approaching them already and we are here still in heat with our humid weather. And with that, more and more introductory offers of different brands of Gas Fires or Electric Fires are being offered in the market. I even heard one of my friend ranting about a certain fireplace company of being so rude and pushy. They even called her at her office asking her to order as early as now, but you see, my friend already have an old but still running electric fire place, so no need for a new one as of this writing. Although she actually feels sorry for the sales agent because she knows that the man is only looking for a sale, but then again, if it is not the right time and the customer said no, just stop. So no argument and no bad mouthing can be heard against the company. Well that is why hotprice.co.uk is known to be the most in demand fire place selling company for the good reputation it has in the line of this kind of business. This is what most costumers are actually looking for in a certain company, the good name that the good service comes along with. Something this company has.

What the?!!

... heck is this?! Read HERE to find out...

office talks

As mentioned on my other site, Ive'd been looking for an efficient and affordable all in one office machine to be use here, in our home. And you wonder why we need this thing? simply because the whole family is actually a techy geeks! lol, kidding aside, because my dad is always in need of photo copying services for all his documents and faxing messages and other docs to his company main office. While my sister is always getting a document scanning services from the nearest computer shop in our area. And with just that, we are accumulating a lot of expense! Would you believe that if we only thought about it earlier, we could have at least save some thousand bucks! But it was all over and done, and what we need to do now is search for the most effective and affordable document scanning machine that also serves other purposes like pinting and photo copying as well as voice phone. Anyways, I'll let you guys updated if my search has come to an end and a very good brand is already at target.

help the folks

Have you heard about this illinois nursing home neglect issues that currently hit the US news about a few weeks ago? The story goes behind like there were certain housing homes that was reported of abuse, and of course, the elders who are in the care of that said nursing homes are the ones being abused in one way or another. I wasn't able to get the whole story but learning that there were something fishy going on around these elderly homes makes me think, what can they possibly to the elders whom I think are helpless and are so old to at least defend themselves to the unjust way of running the shelters they are at. It's just a good thing that there are illinois nursing home negligence lawyer and chicago nursing home abuse attorneys, a group of legal lawyers who practically focuses on cases like the abuse in the nursing homes. They are the ones who helps the helpless folks to fight for their rights as human being.

What's on your Fridge?

Last night, I was able to find my fridge photos taken last week, and remembers that I still have a fridge meme on hang... so here it is!

you can read the rest of the story here.

tickets

Been thinking of great gifts to give this coming Yuletide season to the men of the family, really, it's hard to think for a gift for them right? I mean, it has been my waterloo when it comes to buying gifts for the dads, uncles and other boy relatives. Their hobbies are so different from one another! but I know that one thing binds them, Sports! although there are some who are just like to watch while others are so enthusiastic when it comes to hearing stuff that has to do with balls and body smashing kind of plays. So I guess Wicked Tickets would do just great for them, at least they could go with one another and they would have the same gift so no jealousy and comparing issue. But you see, if only we have more than enough money for the gifts, maybe I'd get them some Dallas Cowboys Tickets or Boston Red Sox Tickets if and only if they can do attend the said games. I know they would love it and they would love me as well! hahaha... How I wish!

LP: Gold Shoes

** The golden shoes of my beloved princess together with the silver colored one and with the cute flower turbans. Taken after I realized that I bought 2 pairs when we only need one for her birthday. tsk. tsk. tsk.

techy

As mentioned earlier, I'm thinking of getting my sister a new Blaze Media Pro Multimedia Software that she can use for her techy stuff moments and she needs a new dvd ripper, an audio converter and video converter that this Blaze Software has all in! So what can you ask for right? But of course, I'm still considering the price it would cost me. You see, she will be celebrating her 21st birthday this coming December and I'm looking now for a nice gift for her, something she would really really love! And since she is a techy and geeky person, a software for all her downloads might make it to the top. Although she's also asking for a new cellphone, which I can't cover! its way to expensive! hehehe... I only have a minimum budget for her gift. So I guess I'll just stick with the said software. What I need to do now is canvass for the most cheap priced there is, if and only if there is one.

lovely

I was checking my online account to see if it is possible for me to buy something online, a cool designer bag, some make ups or a patek philippe watch maybe. you see, i myself is honest enough to tell that at this very moment i am not capable of buying the real slash genuine fancy wrist watch, well although i know that there are still a lot who prefers to purchase the thousand worth one, good for them because they got more than enough moolah! but as for me, i am so settled to at least get a real patek phillipe watches even if it will take me years to save. but guess what, i heard that even some of the collectors of such expensive watches do also buy the replicas! que horror, meaning some of them even wears the fake ones! oh my, but we can never tell right? because we know that they collect! that is one hell of an advantage for their part, they are already wearing the cheap breitling watches but men, looks the same as the thousand bucks worth... lucky them!

Midweek

Today is such a happy day! Well, its just actually my mood now, why? because I was able to reach my quota for the week already at to think that we are just in the mid week of it all! But of course, that wouldn't stop me for reaching more stars! Still hoping for the best right? Aren't we all? Anyways, I'm also waiting for the cleaning lady who comes once every week for a general cleaning but its already almost 9 in the morning and she's still not here. I also asked the husband to accompany me to SM to request for the deactivation of my other ISP service, since I finally decided to continue with what I'm using now, a lot more convenient and it also has a phone package bundle. So what are my other itenirary for today, hmmm, let me think, oh! I would also have to get the September issue of Yes Magazine for my entertainment news dose! U-huh, I'm one of those celebrity and entertainment fanatic here! hehehe.. I love showbiz actually! But no, I'm not very particular with the new stars now ha, as for the record. And more often than we usually watch foreign movies because I only like a few good local movies, as long as its from Star Cinema productions. Alright then, time to hit this thing off, have to take a bath and prepare myself for a day with the husband... be back laters!

Brand New Start

Today is a start of a brand new day! Was way to happy with all the work I received yesterday, it was way too overwhelming, I must admit! Even though I was missing in action the whole day, blame it on my monthly visitor who brings my migraine and yes, vertigo with hot flashes. It was one hell feeling of the day, that I had to lie down in bed the whole day and eat nothing, because my body cannot seem to participate. Good thing, the little brat of the house was at my folk's house, yes, she had her sleep over there, thus making me able to rest and sleep and recharge myself for a mind boggling blogging session today! Yipee! to start of, I need to read about the EcoQuest International Today because honestly, I do not know anything about this stuff. So I have to read and learn first before hitting it right off! How about you, do you have any idea on what this is all about? Alright then, time for me to read and stop typing. ciao!

open to it

if given a chance i will definitely go under the knife :)

yes! you just heard me right, i mean for me it is just a freedom of expression, if you wanted to be beautiful and you have the money for it, then go! especially now right after i gave birth, geez, i got plenty of maternity battle scars called stretchmarks! and everytime i look myself in the mirror that is what would caught my attention and it just freaks me out! and not to forget my love handles, ooh, i get plenty of that too! and my additional fat makes my nose flatter than the usual! blame it on my widening face! honestly, sometimes or may i say most of the times i can't help but feel unpretty. Though my husband's keeps telling me that it's not that exaggerated or something, but i can see with my two eyes! I terribly miss my confidence now.

so being interested in going under the knife, out of nothing I just found myself searching for websites that might help me give insights and more understandings of plastic surgeries and other surgical procedures like the famous
Houston cosmetic surgeons who knows, in the future when i'm financially able i might be able to have a nose job for myself done with. hehehe...

girls best friend

I happen to find a site thar are selling out beautiful and real Fine Jewelry online. Bluenile online store are selling out Engagement Rings and other Diamonds jewelries, so for those who wanted to buy or canvass for one, you can just click on their site and see the wonderful array of classic and sassy real jewelries! Anyways, when I was about to leave the site I was able to read the price beside the attractive photos, and gosh i was surprised! really, I never thought that this pricey looking jewelries would fit ones budget. I mean, i would love to have one of this. in the future. i'm glad that i am a minimalist when it comes to fashion and accessorizing myself, that is why here are my two picks amongst the many styles available, and again, this styles of pendents are believe it or not you can actually save up for a style or two if you really wantd. The style and design doesn't give justice to the price. but yes, it is affordable. It makes me wonder how much is left on my paypal after all those shopping sprees I made. It actually made me guilty on buying too many stuff, that if only I save earlier, I maybe able to buy even the most cheapest diamond ring on the site.

Iron Chef

It was another Sunday well spent day at my folks house, my mom cooked sumptuous Chicken and Pork Adobo and we had yummy tacos for our afternoon snack. We were all so full after every meals! And what did we do the whole day? Bum around! lol. Well actually, we watched Lifestyle network the whole afternoon, waited and happily watched Iron Chef, since I am one chef wanna be here, and I must say that I love every single dish the contestant chefs prepared! All for the love of oysters, yes oysters. Although I am not so fond of oysters, but the way they present it was suprisingly yummy looking! Even the judges says that every single dish has a twist. And the team that I guessed who would win, bagged the prize!

And speaking of cook off, have you heard about the latest craze in the cooking and chef's world these days? it's the time for the Great American Sea Food cook off! of www.GreatAmericanSeafoodCookOff.com and here is the dish that caught my eyes from the other recipes on the site

Texas Gulf Shrimp recipe by Chef Mark Holley from Texas. Maybe the reason why I chose this because it is made from my favorite seafood which is shrimp, and probably because it is one of our staple food from where I grew up, and knowing that shrimp tastes really good, I believe that this entry would probably bag the first prize. And yes, just look at the plating, super nice! you can practically smell the aroma of the dish! Yummy. It makes me crave for a shrimp dish now. Good thing shrimps are vastly available from where we live now, and most probably, I will hit the wet market tomorrow to get my stock! Oh, by the way, you might want to see and vote for your desired dish at the cook off challenge, all you have to do is visit their site and mark your vote, great prizes like trip to New Orleans awaits the lucky winner!

A super nice award from architect! thank you sooo much! :) With six blogging awards, it's really overwhelming! Although at times I tend to post my tags and awards in a week's time that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate one's effort to give me something special, it's just that I have handful things to attend to inside the house as a mother, wife and all around maid! and yes, blogging comes next to all of that. Anyways, its time for me to say ciao once again for I need to read more about Orovo and the effects it could provide me :)

Yes, Hello? {drop}

Do you know that there is now a website called AnnoyingCallers.com? yes, the site name says it all actually. It is a new site that was opened to help out people who usually receives calls that are yes, as I said earlier, annoying. You see, more and more call centers and telemarketing companies are sprouting side to side that are being the first on the list who usually does random calls to houses, offices and even personal numbers to promote and offer their different products and services. Although we all know that it is part of their work, calling and insisting this and that products and services, but sometimes they can really get into ones nerves, especially if the person is busy with one thing or another. That is why, it is such a good thing that somebody came up with annoyingcallers.com. With this helpful site, one can search the said website for annoying numbers and even unknown callers, after which one can submit a report on the harrassment and trouble it caused them. Basically, just to know who owns the unknown number that is frequently calling.

on high blood update

Last week was a terrible and traumatic week for us, unfortunately the husband suffers never ending vertigo experience followed by a headache, it was so painful that he even needs to throw up at one point. That is why my mom and I decided to bring him to the nearest clinic and let his blood pressure checked, then it hit us, his BP rise up to 150/100! I was asked to get him an otc medicine that can help lower his pressure and some cold pineapple juice too. We were able to get home safe and sound and I just let him rest while I keep an eye on him.
The following morning we went to a specialist doctor for a general check up, the nurse attendant took his BP using a
blood pressure monitor and thank God it lowered to 130/90, but of course it is still relatively high. Then after some tests the doctor told us that he suffers from high Triglycerides, meaning there are fats present around his heart, so he needs to take some three different medicines for a month and needs to be check up again after two weeks. So now, we have to be extra watchful in all our food intakes, no oily and fatty foods for the husband, no chips, no chicken skin and no cholesterol filled meals. There are so many adjustments for all of us now, he also needs to start dieting in a safe and steady way. I just hope he'll get better soon, and stabilize his blood pressure. God be with us...

Leap Frogs for Olin

As mentioned on my earlier posts, we bought Olin her first Leap Frogs educational toys . We got her School Time LeapTop because she really loves using my laptop, at least now she has her own na, plus the activities are so nice she can really learn from it. Second is the Leap's Phonics Pond which is so suitable for her where she can follow the abc's pronunciation and the music is really entertaining! And lastly, the Pretend and Learn Shopping Cart that has grocery items included, and it has a scanner that talks whenever the items are scannned! So cool and it's so cute that my sister and I played it for a while, showing Olin how to use it! Of course, a trully appreciative tot, Olin super loves it so much! That she didn't took a nap that afternoon and just practically played with her toys! So there, after some baby clothes shopping two weeks ago, it's toy story now and moolah drained! hahahaha! anything for the little boss of the house!

latest project

Hubby's new motor ride, Honda Dio 3 Zx which as you can see, he lowered to the max practically almost touching the ground! ay jusmiyo! you see, he has this thing with lowering every vehicle that he owns, and when I say everything, that means ALL. Be it cars, vans or four wheel drives, he'll really cut down a two or more of the springs but when he feels like it, he'll just remove the springs and have a super low rider auto! Admitedly, I used to hate riding cars that practically bounce whenever you're inside but I became used to it, that I actually enjoyed riding lowered cars now. He even have he's own logo of Praise the LOweRD. And a lot of his friends ask for their copies of that. Anyways, here are some photos of the ZX... I might post another batch of lowered cars but for the meantime, I'll have to search for sample of equestrian clothing photo that my niece needed for her project.

oldies but goodies

Remember the meet up that the husband attended two weekends ago? Well it just so happen that while I was looking for photos to use on my other blog, I stumble unto this shots my husband took during the meet up. It's just sad because he wasn't abley to take a photo of the actor Dominic Ochoa, who happens to be one of their members. Sorry girls, no photo of a celebrity. Well anyways, these are just some of the many shots that I picked to post in here, there were like hundred members who showed that day, so can you imagine, guys plus restored cars?! it's chaos! And yes, of course there were car insurance who took advantage of the event, in fact, the husband came home with lots of paper quotes from them!

Weekend Birthday

Last Saturday, we attended a birthday party of a friend's daughter. At first Olin was so giddy happy with all the party props and the kids that surrounds her. The party was your typical children's party with lots of yummy foods, over flowing drinks and happiness from all the guests, because the celebrant's grand parents are so accommodating, you'll really feel at home at an instant. It's one of those party you'll surely love! I must say, though there are no fancy popcorn machines or other kiddie props, the super delicious entre and desserts were more than enough for all the people who attented. We went home super filled that I wasn't able to eat my dinner.

Anyways, here are some photos taken with my little brat in every bit :)

Olin and the celebrant Khim Diane- such a big girl eh? she even wears the same size of clothes as Olin now!

A photo op with her kuya Jan-jan whom she trully adores! can you see how she likes being photographed? isn't she adorable?!

Another cute shot, this time with her grandma who is partly hidden! and her uber big red balloon!

Now here's a tired Olin, a few minutes before she throws her ultimate tantrum moment!
