domesticated diva

OMG! my birthday surprise post is almost one week late already! how can I missed blogging that super special (kilig-kilig) experience?! But then again, been so busy with a whole lot of things for the past few days and my domesticated-self is now officially turned on, thus made my online time cut on half. Oh well, can't just let my husband and daughter simply take care of themselves right? I'm their wonder mom/wife you know! And speaking of my domesticated function, we are off to search one of this Kohler toilets, since we are already thinking of changing the ones we have in one of our comfort room.

sicky kid

Daughter is still sick, now with cough and colds. Though tolerable, I think a pinch or more of protein powder will make her regain her lost weight from not having an appetite to eat and all. But I better ask first her pediatrician and see if he'll go with the idea or I'd just keep on track with her meds and try to let her eat as often as possible. Oh crap, I just wish that she'll get well soon so she wouldn't have to miss on her summer school again tomorrow!

nearing 30-ish

Do you have any idea where I can get the best weight loss supplement in the market today? you see, I've tried so many stuff online and until now, I think there is no big improvement what so ever on my body! In fact, I believe my pounds is continually increasing! Crap isn't?! Oh well, I think slow metabolism is another factor to consider, especially now that I am reaching my thirty-ish. Probably I should start running again and enroll myself to a health club or something, don't you think so too? Better tell this thing to dear husband and see if he'll allow me to join!

cleaning time

As mentioned on my other posts, the husband has arrived and that means we are going back to our crib! oh man, it's cleaning time once again! I actually started with the bedroom last Saturday and done with the bathroom too! Thank heavens for an easy to clean tub, it's actually just like one of those walk in bathtubs you see in online, small and compact, easy to clean and doesn't need so much maintenance.
Anyways, I'd be starting with the living room and kitchen area by tomorrow so I'd be MIA again online for the rest of the day, hopefully I'd get back to the grind by night.

dvd transfer

I am a queen bee. And that's a fact when it comes to keeping so many stuff from the smallest to big and tremendously huge items! That's what you call sentimental value and all. Anyways, the reason why I sad this is because I'm currently thinking of having my film collections be preserve, that is why, Film to DVD transfer is what I'm looking at. Thank heavens for technology, now we can practically have all our old films be preserve and converted into a dvd copy, which is what almost everyone in this universe is using! And I doubt if that thing will get phased out just like those huge film tapes that we grew up with.
Speaking of that transfer process, I'd probably ask my friends if they'd also want this transfer procedure so we can have all our stuff go on batch. That way, we can save on shipping or at least get a discount for ordering a handful of transfers. And yes, this reminds me to order another transfer copy of our wedding celebration too, you see, ours (the dvd copy) got lost somewhere and up to now is nowhere to be found! Good thing, our photo and video supplier provided us with film copy too, so there, we'll make use of that to get our new copies.

quickie meals

I've been in my so lazy mode for the past few days, isn't it obvious? a couch potato for the past four days already, yeah, four days and it's not so me right? i mean, for some time now i always stays in front of my laptop for a good eight to twelve hours in a day! especially after i resigned from work, i make sure to stay busy doing some writing opportunities and blog hopping, reading posts from other fellow bloggers, reading news and new stuff from different websites. i even try to join and register online sites like www.ivillage.com/food for mommies and cook wannabes too! yes, you just read that right, I've been into cooking too, although it has been like almost three years since i started being in charge with the cooking and all, but its a totally different story now, with a kid in tow, food has to get some improvements too you know, it must be kid friendly and yummy so my daughter wouldn't have a hard time eating. so there, i make sure to visit food sites Quick Recipes and food information. actually, its really great, you know having a ready site ready to help whenever you experience lack of ideas on what and how to prepare certain meals the whole family would definitely love!
Anyways, speaking of recipes, I better do my thing on this again before dear husband arrives from abroad. You see, he is a foodie and he enjoys home cooked meals instead of the dining out. That is why, I exert effort on researching new dishes that I think is possible for me to cook up so as to serve my family dishes that are quite unique and special, which I think he truly appreciates... because mainly of the effort and of course, for the taste!

The past year has been the most expensive year in my entire life. Shopping has become my thing undoubtedly. That is why I try now to control my spending and basically obey my dear husband to save. But then again, looking out for the best deals and bargains online is totally another story :D In fact, he had given me a go signal to shop for whatever I want as long as it goes under our drawn agreed line of spending. So you see, he didn't stop me abruptly, he's actually giving me time to draw back little by little.

Woot woot! I just need to commend myself for a very productive day this is! Imagine, it's just an hour after lunch and I was able to finish quite number of tasks already! yey to that! And if things and works keeps on flowing like these, probably I'd be able to get myself my own working desk, just like the real office furniture that I always wanted to have for sometime now. And if that happens, oh man! perfect spot for me and my laptop :D

hair loss

Currently checking out product made for hair loss for women. Not that my hair is still continuously falling out but turns out, the fallen hair during my post natal states is still slowly making phase! Probably it's still the hormones to blame or the stress I'm experiencing or whatever. But then again, hopefully this product works good on me! Will see about that. And oh, maybe you got suggestions on this? care to share?

busy birthday

Just when I thought that my birthday week is a chillax one, I'm wrong! turns out, I'd be very very busy with work! Oh no, don't get me wrong.. I'm not complaining or anything, I'm just er, blabbing! so there, no holiday for me even if it's my birthday, which is alright because I don't have any special plans or anything for that day so yes, you'd find me online probably checking out philly jobs .com and helping my sister lands a job somewhere! :D

Actually, we are trying her luck with online searching and surprisingly we ends up submitting resumes to a number of job openings. Didn't know that more and more companies are placing ads on those sites nowadays. I even saw this finance job search that I think is fit for my qualification (if I'd apply for a position), unfortunately, I'm still enjoying my stay at home mom stint.. so that's a clear pass for me.
So there, hopefully dear sister lands a job soon...
