What I Love Most About Being a Mom.

1. having the most special feeling after the traumatic giving birth moment... seeing my daughter was my happiest.
2. receiving hugs and kisses in the most unexpected times, even when I am so mad, Olin will just approach me and would love (hug) and kisses me-- with lips so pouted! the cutest!


3. being treated well during Mother's day and almost everyday.... the husband appreciates me-- being a good mother and all :)
4. memorizing and reciting nursery rhymes, abc's and counting 1-10 before bedtime and in the morning.


5. having the next child superstar -- with all the dancing and singing and tricks being done in front of you.
6. having someone who enjoys the sound of the rain -giggles and all-
7. having a little human embraces you in the middle of my sleep...
8. after a whole day of work, just by seeing her smile makes my tiredness go away.
9. now I know how my own mother feels about me...
10. learning what unconditional love is.

1. What present did you gave to your Mom last Sunday for the Mother’s Day? -- KP Creation's mini cake :) actually it was the sample cake that was used for the photo opt three days before Mom's day :)

2. If you’re a Mom what did you receive? If you’re a Dad what did you gave to your Wife/partner? -A Huge Family Sized Pizza and a Jolibee take out that I requested :)

3. Where did you go to celebrate the special day? -At home,because the daughter is sick :(

4. Did you had a fabulous time? Please Share. - Of course! quality time with the hubby and baby is always one fabulous experience!

5. Share a special moment together with your Mom that you treasure most! Either you were a kid or now that you have a family already! - My mom and I are the closest of friends ever! We always chitchat until the wee hours just about everything, from the neighborhood's chismax to the family's problems and all. I missed that so much.

6. Do you have a tradition on Mother’s Day in your family? If yes, What? -- No particular, we just make it a point to hear mass and greet my mom. Eat out sometimes.

7. What do you think you got from your Mom’s look? - everything! I was photocopied! lol

Miss her

I am so missing my Olin! you see, for two consecutive nights she's been sleeping over at my parents house because I have been so very busy with the mini-cake and cuppies business for Mother's day. And finally, after two sleepless nights every single order is done and was delivered, oh yeah, there are still two mini cakes here left for later delivery. Right now my body is too tired already but my heart instructs me to go and get my daughter. I heard she's having way too much fun with her two cousins right now, her tita texted me and told me that she already had her lunch and now playing/riding her dora beep-beep while watching Wowowee. I'm just waiting for the hubby now to come home from one of his errands and I will ask him to fetch the brat.

Bdw, tomorrow is Mother's day! second hit for me! :) two happy years being a mother! :)
Still got no plans for tomorrow though, but I'm craving for some Japanese, we'll see....

update update

It's another midweek and I am so facking lazy and tired rolled into one. Mahirap pala talaga maging yaya/help-less noh?! I mean, from squeezing in all the chores in the house plus taking care of an uber kulit na toddler is really dehydrating! no, don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining here you know, I'm just making kwento of my daily life after the yaya leaves us. It's just you know nakakamangha lang talaga whenever I start arranging the bedroom in the morning then the clutter in the living room jusmeyo hindi pa ko tapos meron nanamang ligpitin sa kitchen! so mega wash naman ako plus the 'didi' (milk) bottles then sterelize, eto nanaman may kalat nanaman sa may living room, then sa mini play area ni Olin naman, of course yung cr naman after. Imagine not yet done with the lysol moments ko sa cr floor meron nanaman akong next agenda terrace! ay, total workout talaga ang drama ko! hahahahaha!
Now that's the reason why I haven't been able to update my blog as much as I wanted to, kasi may malikot na bata na lagi kong bantay! hehehehe... kaya ayun, di nakasama sa PR up grade ang kawawa kong blog! :(
Anyways, what's up with you guys lately? will try talaga to blog hop later tonight, and finish all the opps that were send by the sheriff :)

i've been in my so lazy mode for the past few days, isn't it obvious? a couch potato for the past four days already, yeah, four days and it's not so me right? i mean, for some time now i always stays in front of my laptop for a good eight to twelve hours in a day! especially after i resigned from work, i make sure to stay busy doing some writing opportunities and bloghopping, reading posts from other fellow bloggers, reading news and new stuff from different websites. i even try to join and register online sites like www.foodconnect.com for mommies and cook wannabes too! yes, you just read that right, i've been into cooking too, although it has been like almost three years since i started being in charge with the cooking and all, but its a totally different story now, with a kid in tow, food has to get some improvements too you know, it must be kid friendly and yummy so my daughter wouldn't have a hard time eating. so there, i make sure to visit food site for the latest recipes and food informations. actually, its really great, you know having a ready site ready to help whenever you experience lack of ideas on what and how to prepare certain meals the whole family would definitely love!

on hoping

i still clearly remember how the husband and i felt during our first few months of being together after our wedding, how we are so concern of why we are not yet conceiving after the so many attempts of having a baby. the feeling of unworthiness after realizing that my period had just invaded myself left a lot of pressure on both of us. imagine, we are already thinking of going to a fertility clinic and having check by a known fertility specialist in our area. but thank God that after six months of waiting the positive sign came in our kit! i was just over exaggerating i guess. but for others, this issue is not as the same as what to our experience, thus some of this couples tends to get an IVF PGD or the implantation thing being done by specialist like Dr. Randy Morris of Chicago and Naperville, Illinois. there are numbers of couples who have said that after this treatment, they were able to succeed in conceiving.

inspektor Olin

this is the daily afternoon routine of the mag-lola, strolling outside, checking out the construction and making chicka with the neighbors --- Olin in tow! :) this is usually my free-self time, wherein i blog up like hell and do assignments, when the house is silent and all by myself! but one afternoon, when opps are not on my side :( i decided to join them outside, made chicka to the max with our neighbors, took some shots of the apartment, watch while my mom and daughter pretends be the engineers and check this and that of the construction... one day, Olin will see this photo of her with my mom, she'll sure love this.. i know... lucky her, as for me? i wasn't able to experience this kind of bonding moments with my both grand mothers, time and chance and choice doesn't meet during my time...
that is why, i make sure Olin would have the best times with her two Grandmothers, thank God my mom and mother in law loves her so much...

a photo of the husband and my super talkative daughter outside the church of the Pink Sisters... we cannot stay long inside the chapel because the non stop blabbing of Olin that can really icks the other mass goers, she keeps on pointing things around, making faces to the people behind us, play peek-a-boo with anyone who looks at her direction, clap her hands, shouts and sings or dance or whatever she desires to do. thus the husband and i decided to go out and listen to the mass outside before people gets irritated by us. i just wonder to what age she can really understand us when we tells her that she needs to be quiet whenever we are inside the church. i would love her to become prim and proper when inside the house of God, unlike the other tots that always runs around the church during mass, who cries their lungs out whenever they want something or simply talks unstop-ably acting like a real spoiled brats or something without the parents making them stop.

my sick 1 year old

here is my sickie daughter with her 'tigdas hangin' took this shot a few hours before all the red marks appeared on her face and body... she was itching to the max thus making her so cranky and all, but still manage to smiles and laughs with the wowowee show! :) it took her another 3 days to finally recover from all the red dots... and yes, she lose so much weight :(

mommy group

motherhood changed me a lot. from interests to my priorities. before i used to care about other matters such as make ups, latest clothing trends and shoes. but now, i can say that those things are in the end list of my wants and needs. getting hands on and doing the stuff a mommy should do is my interest now, learning new things about taking care of my daughter is my priority. that is why being member of an online group like Mamasource is something i am so thankful for. with all those articles regarding mommy hood, child caring, advices and referrals from other moms who are also registered members of the e group. so c'mon fellow mommies join now and get involve!

our bedtime stories

here is us, a few minutes before her bedtime, i make sure that she gets some doze of colors or shapes or animals, oh well, if she's in the mood like in the picture and not cranky, coz there are times she'd rather watch the youtube with her dad rather than pay attention to my readings. lol. but most of the times, she loves doing her own babbling and 'reading', so i let her be, until she throws away the book --- meaning she wants to stop na, give her milk bottle and she's about to sleep.

wide awake

time now is 12:51am... still wide awake ang lola nyo here... still waiting for the husband, he says he's on his way na, he attended he's weekly Oldskooler meet ups in Westgate Alabang... and i'm waiting for my box of Gonuts Donuts. yes, i'm still into it. after eating humongous amount of it during my pregnancy days. now i still crave for it but with Sola raspberry iced tea now :)
i haven't been able to do paid entries tonight because my brain isn't working the way it's supposed to, ngarag i guess. or maybe just tired. we joined the Our Lady of Soledad de Porta Vaga motorcade this afternoon in Cavite City, followed by dinner at KFC. watched the ending episode of Kokey, Big Brother and the scary MMK. were you able to watch it din ba? the story was sad not actually scary. i mean if i was the mother of Luis and i have a power to curse or something,maybe i'll do the same. nothing beats the feeling a mother suffers when she sees her/his child is hurting so much talaga...

i'm FAT

sometimes or to be honest most of the times i hate my body now, after giving birth and all. the extra pounds are still here :( and i want to be out of me! the pregnancy tummy is flaunting itself every time i wear a body hugging clothes. good thing is that the latest fashion now is the loose tops but still, i feel so unsexy! i want my body back!!!! though the husband tells me i'm still hot (hahahahaha) wooooohhh!!!! sometimes i would love to believe him. but when i get back to look myself in the mirror, reality checks in. as automatic as that. i need to have an exercise routine to get me back in shape. but where shall i start? anyone?!?! maybe its time to enroll in an aerobics class once again :) will the husband permits? nah, i don't think so.
i'll be cutting down the carbs on the table, maybe that is a good start.
